The Telugu film industry is not able to come back on its feet after the COVID second wave. There are various other factors that are pulling down the industry from getting back to normalcy. The producers of the medium and big-budget films are in two minds about what the future holds for the theatrical business in the near future. So the pressure is on them to consider the OTT release option.
Natural Star Nani’s Tuck Jagadish producers reportedly got a rosy offer from an OTT platform to skip the theatrical release. While they are confused about what to do, the actor is not at all in for an OTT release. Nani had a direct-to-OTT release in the COVID first wave with his ‘V’. The actor is worried if back-to-back films releasing on OTT will get him the tag of an ‘OTT Star’. If things do not fall in place by August 13th, Nani may have to give up and allow the release.
Besides Tuck Jagadish, Nani has just finished the shooting of his other project, Shyam Singha Roy. The movie will now enter into an extensive post-production phase. That means very soon the actor will have two films which will be ready for release.
