As many of you may know by now, the theatre released Telugu movie, ‘Paagal’ is making its OTT debut in a couple of days. The romantic comedy feature is releasing on Amazon Prime Video, and you know what that means – a promotional trailer with a watermark of the famous Amazon Prime logo. ‘Paagal’ made its premiere in theatres during the Independence Day Weekend and the film has managed to gross over Rs. 12 crores so far. However, with many of the major states in the country currently not having access to theatres, the film producers have decided to release the film on OTTs very quickly after its OTT premiere. ‘Paagal’ was initially supposed to be a direct-to-OTT release, according to reports. The movie had received a good offer from Amazon Prime Video to skip its theatrical release, which is a boon in this COVID second/ third wave-climate. However, Vishwak Sen, the lead actor of the film, was confident in the film and insisted for a theatrical release only.
As we can see in the trailer, Vishwak Sen plays the role of a playboy who has somehow managed to fall for 1600 girls. However, his first rejection makes him truly understand what he is missing in his life. He eventually falls in love with this girl. While the premise of this film seems a little creepy; according to critics, the film is a good watch – so we will have to wait and see when the film drops on Amazon Prime Video.
