Pamela Anderson Documentary Feature Lands At Netflix

Netflix has acquired the definitive documentary about pop culture icon Pamela Anderson that has been in making for several years now. The documentary will feature exclusive access to Pamela Anderson as well as never before seen archive footage and personal journals.

Announcing the doc film on Twitter, Netflix wrote, “Pamela Anderson is ready to tell her story in a new documentary.

The film, which has been in the making for several years, will feature the pop culture icon setting the record straight as she looks back on her professional path and her personal journey.”

The streaming giant also shared a note by Pamela that read, “My life, A thousand imperfections, A million misperceptions, wicked, wild & lost nothing to live up to. I can only surprise you – not a victim, but a survivor, alive to tell the real story.”

Directed by Ryan White (The Keepers, Ask Dr. Ruth), the documentary, as per Netflix, is an intimate portrait embedded in the life of Pamela Anderson as she looks back at her professional and personal path and prepares for the next steps on her journey.

The Pamela Anderson is produced by Jessica Hargrave, Julia Nottingham, Ryan White and Brandon Thomas Lee with Josh Braun serving as the executive producer. Dorothy St Pictures and Tripod Media are the production companies behind the doc film.
