Panchayat 3 Hits Prime Video With Gigantic Viewership

We are talking about one of the most successful shows from the Indian demographic and one of the best products of TVF and Prime Video. This success was inevitable. The audience waited eagerly while Prime Video tested their patience with few updates and announcements. As the Lauki campaign took place, Season 4 of Panchayat took off.

Released on May 28th, it had its first week of release, and the stats are mind-boggling. Even Sachiv Ji would lose his cool.

TVF announced on X that the show not only got 12M views in its first week, but it also became the most-streamed film or series on this week’s Prime Video chart. However, there’s a fun fact.

What if it streamed on Netflix?

With 12M viewership, the show would have topped Netflix’s TV (Non-English) charts, even giving tough competition to Bridgerton: Season 3, which has a viewership of 11.6M views and 42.4M watch hours.

Though Prime Video hasn’t publicly announced their calculation method regarding views, it would simply outplay Bridgerton: Season 3 with 60M+ watch hours.

Despite some complaints about the show losing its essence, it is still getting enough positive reviews to continue. As the audience waits for Mirzapur on Prime Video, in that empty space, Panchayat will get enough room to grow.
