In a recent announcement Paramount+ has decided to extend the Korean slate of the platform with three new shows. The titles of the three shows are ‘Dongjae, The Good Or The Bastard’, ‘Dreaming Of Cinde Fxxxing Rella’ and ‘Pyramid Game’.
‘Dongjae, The Good Or The Bastard’ is the spin-off of the thriller series ‘Stranger’. The show will tell the story of Dongjae, a lawyer who investigates the case of a young girl’s murder. He has to choose between his just intuitions and opportunistic traits in a tremendous conflict while investigating the case. Dongjae is directed by filmmaker Park Gun Ho and written by Hwang Hajung and Kim Sangwon. It stars Lee Jun Hyuk in the lead role.
‘Dreaming Of Cinde Fxxxing Rella’ on the other hand is a romantic comedy created by Baek Mi-kyoung. Baek Mi-kyoung is known for South Korean projects like Strong Girl Bong-soon and The Lady In Dignity. The show will star actors like Pyo Ye-jin and Lee Jun-young. Dreaming Of Cinde Fxxxing Rella tells the story of a young girl who keeps fantasizing about having a perfect relationship and one day when she meets her ‘Prince Charming’, she finds out that he does not believe in love. How she will overcome this huge problem, you will have to watch the show to know.
The last one, ‘Pyramid Game’ is directed by Bak So Yeon and written by Choi Sui. The show will tell the story of a young school girl who is consistently bullied and she has to turn herself into a ‘Sniper’ in order to save herself and end a violent highschool Game. There are many teenagers and high schoolers who are fond of Korean dramas, they will find this show quite interesting.
The shows will launch on Paramount exclusively in countries like Australia, Canada, U.S.A, U.K, Switzerland and will be streamed on JioCinema in India as Paramount has a deal with Viacom18 regarding its originals.
