It’s been quite some time now, since we last saw robots battling it out against each other, to protect the earth and mankind from invasions of the evil ones. Well, if you are confused we are talking about the superhit films from the “Transformers” franchise. It was almost 3 years ago now since we last saw “Bumblebee”, the yellow Autobot and even longer since we saw the whole gang. Looks, the wait will finally get over soon as a brand new “Transformers” movie is on the works at Paramount.
Paramount Pictures seems to have some big plans for the franchise as they have mentioned that they would like to make more sequels, spin-offs as well as stand-alone movies for the franchise. The latest movie which is being developed right now will be written by Marco Ramirez, a man behind creating two Marvel series “Daredevil” and “Defenders” for Netflix. Angel Manuel Soto is on board to direct the movie, who is also directing Warner Bros. and DC’s Blue Beetle movie.
With such talents on board the team, the movie definitely already looks like a blockbuster. The makers have announced that there is no definitive plot right now for the movie. It is still being discussed whether it will be a stand-alone project or a sequel for their earlier movies. They also haven’t revealed as to whom they would like to cast or who they are considering for the roles in the movie.
Since, the project is literally at the earliest stage now, nothing at all has been decided as to when the movie will have a date of release or when will the shoot for it begin. The makers are working more on a stand-alone movie or something of the sorts, where even if the viewers don’t watch the earlier ones don’t have issues relating to it. This idea has been brought forward, to make sure both the old and new fans can enjoy it equally.
As for the fans of Transformers, we are just excited by the news that finally there will be a new movie. It would be interesting to see if we are introduced to brand new Autobots or if Optimus Prime and Gang will come back once again to fight the evil Decepticons.
