Sometimes even the most beautiful films fail and then the complaints about the lack of quality content parades. Right now it is happening in the case of Netflix India’s latest film Cobalt Blue which is a visual treat and overall a beautiful film.
Every Tuesday, Netflix releases a list of the Top 10 most-watched films/series globally and even country wise. Usually, when a new title is released then they make it to the top 10 most-watched list of their own country if not globally. But sadly this is anything but the case with Cobalt Blue. The film starring Prateik Babbar, Neelay Mehendale and Anjali Sivaraman in lead roles is a film based on a highly celebrated novel of the same name.
Interestingly, the author of the book is Sachin Kundalkar who also happens to direct this visual extravaganza.
As you can see, the list has no mention of Cobalt Blue but features Charlie’s Angels which is a 2019 film and had no buzz whatsoever and looks as if it appeared out of nowhere in the list.
We can blame the lack of efforts put by Netflix in marketing the film but the audience should also visit this beautiful film based on a brother and sister who fall in love with the same man.
