Peacock TV or simply Peacock is the new streaming service from NBC Universal. It is also one of the biggest launches of the year and is keenly awaited by the entertainment industry.
Unlike the other streaming services, Peacock is getting launched in two phases. The first one is limited and restricted, and then a full-fledged debut will happen later in July.
The initial launch of Peacock is starting from April 16th in the US. It will be currently available Xfinity X1 and Flex. The users will get access to Peacock and its existing content for now. The real original content will flow from July 16th when Peacock rolls out all over on July 15th.
The users have been given a glimpse of what to expect from Peacock through a series of teasers and trailers. They were Brave New World, Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, Saved By The Bell, Punky Brewster, A.P.Bio, Angelyne etc.
These are just a part of the larger number of shows planned by the streaming platform. Details about the rest of them will be out at a later time. Right now the currents set seem to have enough mix of genres to entice new subscribers in to the Peacock’s fold.
