The BBC One and Netflix show Peaky Blinders has made an interesting new addition to its cast for the finale season that is Season 6. Eminent British actor Stephen Graham will join the new Season 6 in an as yet unspecified role. The news was shared by the official social media handles of Peaky Blinders.
The news posted on the Peaky Blinders Instagram account stated, “We’re thrilled that Stephen Graham has joined the cast of #PeakyBlinders series 6.” Here’s the Instagram post –
While the makers have not yet given out any information regarding the role to be played by Stephen Graham, rumours are rife that the actor will be starring as gangster Al Capone. The British actor had garnered much appreciation for his portrayal of the American gangster Capone in the HBO show “Boardwalk Empire”.
Stephen Graham has a vast body of work behind him. He made an appearance in the British show, Line Of Duty S5. He was also seen in films such as The Irishman, Gangs Of New York, Snatch, Public Enemies, among others.
The wildly popular Peaky Blinders recently lost one of its much-loved cast members, Helen McCrory, to cancer. She played the steely Polly Gray in the show.
Peaky Blinders Season 6 will premiere in early 2022 on Netflix and BBC One.
