Fortiche Studio is now working on a new animated project. Fortiche is known for the exceptional ‘Arcane’. The production house has said that their next is a science fiction feature set in a world inspired by Greek mythology.
The movie has been titled ‘Penelope In Sparta’ and it is influenced by the story of Odyssey. It will be telling the story of Penelope, the wife of Odysseus, when she was a seventeen year old girl, in an elite school in a high-tech society. Penelope goes to the school with many other characters influenced by Greek mythology, like Agamemnon, Achilles, Helen, Odysseus etc. There is huge competition in the school and The students are always trying to one up the other. But Penelope is not interested in the competitive environment as she is sent there by her father for a mission. She has to free Sparta from the imperial Athens and she is in school with that very mission.
According to the studio, the film “will utilize the studio’s unique graphic signature – mixing 2D with a painted visual made in 3D – that has proven appeal among animation fans worldwide and garnered multiple critical acclaim.”
The movie is targeting audiences of 13 years and above. High school dramas are being taken to a whole next level by Fortiche and hopefully this will be liked well by audiences.
