For fans of John Krasinski who are disappointed with the news of the multi-talented actor-director not being a part of the upcoming ‘A Quiet Place’ spin-off movie at Paramount studios, the good thing is that he is writing and directing a fantasy comedy film co-starring ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Free Guy’ actor Ryan Reynolds for the same studio. And now it has been reported (via THR) that actresses Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Fiona Shaw have joined John Krasinski’s yet-untitled film’s cast.

BAFTA and Primetime Emmy awards winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge is well known for creating two critically acclaimed series – the BBC comedy ‘Fleabag’ and the spy thriller ‘Killing Eve’. While Fiona Shaw is an Irish actress who is known for her roles in ‘Harry Potter’ films, ‘True Blood’ series, and ‘Killing Eve’, amongst others.

John Krasinski’s much-anticipated directorial venture is slated to release on 17th November 2023 while its filming is expected to commence sometime in the year 2022. Nothing much is currently known about the film’s precise plot besides that it is based on an original idea of Krasinski’s about a child’s journey to rediscover their imagination.

The film is reportedly based on a man who can see and talk to people’s imaginary friends and must stop the ones who have been forgotten, in order to prevent them from turning evil and terrorizing the world using their supernatural powers.

John Krasinski has recently concluded filming for Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Jack Ryan’ Season 3 besides lending his voice for DC’s League of Super Pets. While Ryan Reynolds will next be seen alongside Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot in the forthcoming action thriller film ‘Red Notice’ besides starring in Shawn Levy’s sci-fi flick ‘The Adam Project’.
