The horror comedy film Phone Bhoot is now streaming on OTT. The movie starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Jackie Shroff was released in early November. The film was not received well by both audience and critics and thus emerged as a failure at the box office.
It didn’t have the same fun as many others from the same genre. Also, people have watched a film as entertaining as Stree in the genre of horror comedy, thus this venture was not tempting for the audience.
Regardless, Phone Bhoot is now streaming on Prime Video Store. You guessed it right, it is now available for digital streaming but with the same problem. It is available on Prime Video Store where you would have to purchase it for ₹199 and that too for renting.
Unfortunately, massive outrage and complaints seem to have made no impact on the platform. Continuously they seem to be bringing all the prominent titles on rent itself.
Since the film has low to no buzz in India, it would not bring much attention from the audience but with so many titles Prime Video seems to have normalized the store release.
