Netflix has dropped a super suspenseful trailer for its upcoming Polish mystery-thriller series ‘Open Your Eyes’. Helmed by Anna Jadowska and Adrian Panek, ‘Open Your Eyes’ season 1 will premiere globally on Netflix on 25th August, 2021.
‘Open Your Eyes’ follows an amnesiac teenager who after a tragic accident tries to rebuild her life at a memory disorders center, considered to be the best in country. But she soon becomes suspicious of the unconventional methods of treatment used at the facility and takes it on herself to find out the truth.
In this pursuit she seeks help from her friend who is also a patient at the facility. He is the one who tells her about the weird and strange things that happen there and how people with amnesia are considered as blank pages by the authorities of the facility due to the fact that they don’t remember anything.
While the authorities at the facility also think that the patients will believe whatever is told to them, it isn’t true. The trailer reveals how forced suspicious experimental activities are performed at patients furthering their suffering and causing more trauma to them.
Triggered by all this the teen begins her search for the truth about the things happening at the facility and tries to find out if people like her are kept there for some mysterious evil purpose.
‘Open Your Eyes’ will keep you on the edge of your seats with its ominous and spine chilling thrill. The trailer sets the perfect eerie tone for the Netflix series with its cold and scary feel.
The Polish series casts Maria Wawreniuk, Ignacy Liss, Michał Sikorski, Wojciech Dalotowski, Klaudia Koścista, Zuzanna Galewicz, Marta Nieradkiewicz, Sara Cellar Jezierska, Palo Król, Marcin Czarnik and Martyna Nowakowska.
Marcin Kurek and Cyprian Marchewka have produced ’Open Your Eyes’. The first season of the series will launch exclusively on Netflix on 25th August, 2021.
