devendra fadnavis - Fixer Team AttackA few days ago, the cast and crew of AltBalaji’s Fixer were attacked by goons on the sets. It has become a big issue now with Federation Of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) getting involved.

The attack was allegedly made owing to the confusion over the shooting spot. Some say the unit has permission and while some don’t. Irrespective of the dispute, attacking and beating is not the right way, and that has been conveyed to the higher authorities.

Recently, the top members of the cast of Fixer met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and expressed their concerns. The police have arrested three people related to the incident.

Given all that has happened, BN Tiwari, President of FWICE has told that none of its five lakh members from across 28 unions associated with it will shoot outside Mumbai unless police protection is provided. Too many incidents of the kind of Fixer have been happening, and it needs to stop said the President in a stern voice. We have to see how the Police official responds to the statement.

Fixer stars Mahie Gill, Shabir Ahluwalia, and Tingamanshu Dhulia etc. in prominent roles. Soham Shah directs the series which is an AltBalaji production.
