After attaining pan-India stardom with the epic Baahubali duology, Prabhas has mostly been picking up lager-than-life subjects. All his forthcoming projects, including Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adipurush, and others are shot on a lavish scale. Coming to the topic, Prabhas appears to have set a new personal record of sorts with his upcoming mythological epic, Adipurush, which is in the final leg of production.
Incidentally, Prabhas has completed shooting for the film, as announced by the makers of the big-budget celluloid the other night. It is heard that he has completed the filming part for Adipurush in a little over 60 days. Such a brisk work rate is not usually associated with Prabhas. The machi actor spent as many as 5 years on the Baahubalu duology. His immediate next film, Saaho was under production for close to 2 years. Same is the case with Radhe Shyam as well. But as for Adipurush, the film was wrapped up at a rather surprisingly quick rate.
After having to spend years together on his films, completing a big-budget project in just 60 days should have been a new experience for Prabhas. It could well be a personal record of sorts for him.
Adipurush is a mythological drama based on Hindu mythology Ramayan. Kriti Sanon plays Sita in the film and Sunny Singh plays Lakshman. The film is directed by Om Raut of Tanhaji fame. Adipurush is slated for worldwide theatrical release on the 11th of August, 2022. Prabhas will be seen as Lord Rama in the T Series production venture.
