Premalu Continues To Push Mollywood Into Greatness With Latest Milestone

Premalu, the latest rom com sensation to grace Mollywood, has expanded its horizons with the Telugu version hitting cinemas on March 8th and the Tamil version on March 15th. The film, which stars Naslen Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju, has received critical acclaim and will compete directly with the hit Manjummel Boys at the box office.

As of writing this article, it is believed that Premalu has amassed over ₹120cr in global box office collections, which is a great feat, considering it is almost on track to reach what Manjummel Boys achieved, which is being the highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time.

According to industry trade specialists, Premalu’s Telugu rendition continues to dominate the box office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film’s second weekend grossed ₹3.65 crore, bringing its total to ₹7.9 crore just 10 days of release, indicating its strong popularity among audiences. It’s poised to achieve a top 4 slot among all-time highest-grossing films in Mollywood.

Premalu tells the story of Sachin, played by Naslen, an engineering graduate who wants to migrate abroad, whose life takes an unexpected twist for better (or for worse) when he meets Reenu, played by Mamitha. The plot revolves around their lives, which promises a fascinating and hilarious experience for viewers of all ages. With the current buzz surrounding its Telugu screenings as well, Premalu’s path to success appears to be on track for additional growth in the coming weeks.
