Presumed Innocent Trailer: Jake Gyllenhaal In 8 Part Thriller Series!

The official trailer for ‘Presumed Innocent’ has now been revealed. It will be an eight episode thriller series with Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role.

The series is created by David E. Kelley and the various episodes are directed by

Greg Yaitanes and Anne Sewitsky. The show is adapted from the novel of the same name by Scott Turow.

‘Presumed Innocent’ will be telling the story of Rusty Sabich, a public prosecutor who is accused of murder of one of his colleagues and has to struggle to defend his innocence. While it becomes known to all that he had a sexual relationship with the victim, Rusty tries hard to save his family and marriage as well.

Apart from Jake Gyllenhaal, the show will also star actors like Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Elizabeth Marvel, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, O-T Fagbenle, Chase Infiniti, Lily Rabe. The trailer looks good and will definitely reach the audience it opts for.

There has already been a movie adaptation of the novel directed by Alan J. Pakula that starred Harrison Ford in the lead role. Legal thrillers of this scale work better in the miniseries format and fans are excited for the show to come.
