Apart from Rohit Shetty’s Indian Police Force, the most anticipated title on Prime Video is undoubtedly the Shahid Kapoor starrer Farzi.
Needless to say, Raj & DK are the ultimate directors of Indian OTT. They are directing multiple web series which also include Farzi.
The series looks like a thriller where Shahid would be getting a beast of an opponent in Vijay Sethupathi. In case you are unaware, Farzi translates into “counterfeit”. And it is a common trend to compare the art of copying as a separate art.
If you have watched Money Heist then you know that the character of Berlin considered robbery as an art. Similarly, through the two clues we have, we can assume that Shahid Kapoor considers conning as an art.
Because in the first announcement video, he can be seen talking about art while painting on a canvas. The second teaser features Vijay Sethupathi who can be seen saying that it is impossible to con him.
So it looks like a typical chor police drama but it is too early to assume anything. After all, it is a Raj & DK series and it has to offer something enthralling.
