Based on Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novel series, the first season became an instant hit. Viewers highly praised Ritchson’s performance and the overall show’s settings. And undoubtedly it was way better than Tom Cruise’s outings as the fan-favourite character, Jack Reacher (2012) and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016).
Fans witnessed Reacher dropping a visit to a rural town in Georgia in the maiden season. However, things get twisty suddenly after he gets arrested for a murder he did not commit. The authorities free him as they have no evidence against him. This scenario causes the protagonist to team up with Roscoe Conklin and Oscar Finlay, and the trio starts investigating a huge conspiracy, touching several corrupt cops, businessmen, and politicians.
In the upcoming season, Reacher is coming to take revenge. He will investigate who is responsible for the untimely deaths of his friends from his old military unit.
Vernon Sanders, Amazon’s Head of Television, has teased that the second season may get released this year on the streaming service.
Apart from Alan Ritchson, Prime Video’s Reacher Season 2 will feature Dean McKenzie, Luke Bilyk, Andres Collantes, Edsson Morales, Ty Victor Olsson, Josh Blacker, and many more. Stay tuned for more updates.
