Prime Video India is taking the viewers behind the scenes of the golden age of pulp movies with its latest documentary series ‘Cinema Marte Dum Tak’. Created by Vasan Bala and Samira Kanwar, ‘Cinema Marte Dum Tak’ will premiere only on Prime Video India on 20th January, 2023.
The official trailer released today for ‘Cinema Marte Dum Tak’ offers a behind the scene tour of low budget films of the previous eras. Through exclusive interviews of the people involved in making of such films, it offers insights on what all went into bringing these films to screens.
Laced with genres like horror, glamour, romance, thrill and action these films might have been low on budget but not in hard work. The documentary will feature four films of such kind made by Kishan Shah, Vinod Talwar, Dilip Gulati and J. Neelam. The trailer is dramatic as hell and you also get to see Rakhi Sawant and Arjun Kapoor in it!
‘Cinema Marte Dum Tak’ has four unconventional directors of the golden age of pulp movies offer viewers behind the scenes look at the making of gut-wrenching, tear-jerking, shriek-inducing low budget genre films.
Written by Rigved Siriah, ‘Cinema Marte Dum Tak’ is directed by Disha Randani, Xulfee and Kulish Kant Thakur. Kishan Shah, J Neelam, Vinod Talwar, Dilip Gulati and Kanti Shah among others star in the documentary series form Prime Video India.
‘Cinema Marte Dum Tak’ is produced by Vice Media (India) Private Limited and will start streaming on Prime Video India from 20th January, 2023 onwards.
