Analysis:
This month has gone pretty well for Amazon Prime Video as it released four original shows. Three of them were second or third seasons of already popular shows and ‘Krish Trish And Baltiboy’ was the revival of a much hyped cartoon show for kids. TVF’s ‘Aspirants S2’ has won the hearts of people with a wonderful continuation of the story.
Among the licensed movies, most were quite average. But ‘Mark Antony’ was spectacular and got a huge number of views. Films like ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ or ‘Harkara’ too added decent numbers. ‘Vazhiye’, ‘Are You Okay Baby?’, ‘Mama Mascheendra’ attracted a good audience. There was a gap in the original Films section. There were no original films from Prime Video in October. Last month too there was no original film, the platform has ignored this segment for a long time.
However, Prime Video has added a good many titles, both in original series and licensed movies, to entertain the audiences. And we rate their performance for this month as 5.5/10.
