Ask most kids of the 90s and early 2000s and Takeshi’s Castle is certain to be in their memory. That mega-popular Japanese reality show was an insane hit in India and a permanent topic of conversation in schools.
But enough of nostalgia, there are high chances that the show may get renewed and we can thank Prime Video for that. About 6 days back, a piece of news broke saying that Amazon Prime Video is planning to renew the show and it may get started sometime in 2023.
Yesterday, the Hindi voice and the soul of the show himself gave a hint that we might be able to see the series.
In a Twitter post, Jaaved Jaffrey asked the opinion of his followers on returning for the show. Needless to say, fans of the show showered their approval and registered their anticipation for it.
A fan even said that he would be willing to purchase the subscription for Prime Video if it comes out to be true.
After 2005, when the show aired on POGO TV, it will be an absolute treat if the show returns and maintains the original fun in it. As of now, there is no confirmation about Jaffrey returning for it, but it will be great nonetheless if it happens.
