Prime Video, India’s original reality series, “Mission Start Ab,” is scheduled for release on December 19. This wanna-be Shark Tank show, developed in collaboration with the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, takes an approach by focusing on grassroots entrepreneurs across the country.
“Mission Start Ab” will aim to unearth and empower entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, guiding them to potentially create the next generation of Unicorns. The series introduces three investors, Kunal Bahl (Titan Capital), Anisha Singh (She Capital), and Manish Chowdhary (Wow Skin Science), who not only serve as judges and investors but also take on the role of mentors. Hosted by Masaba Gupta and Cyrus Sahukar, the show is executive produced by Indrajit Ray and directed by Srimanta Senguptta, produced by Endemol Shine India.
The series showcases a variety of startups and entrepreneurs spanning sectors like robotics, fintech, edtech, health, and technology-enabled marketplaces. Viewers will witness the dynamic innovation happening at the grassroots level in India, exploring the inspiring stories of founders from modest backgrounds who aspire to make it big.
After JioCinema’s Indian Angels, this is another show that is copying the concept of Shark Tank India. But, if they have to stand out then it certainly has to offer something else as well. Well, let’s wait to see what happens to Mission Start Ab.
