Prime Video’s Big Campaign Against Bug Plague!

Bugs are everywhere, right from the bread you are eating to the water you are drinking. Streaming platforms are no exception to this phenomenon. Amazon’s Prime Video has been facing some problems lately. People have been complaining about mistakes in the shows and movies they watch. These errors include things like missing episodes, wrong translations, and titles that are not right.

To fix these issues, Amazon has started a project. They want to reduce the number of complaints from customers. It turns out that in 2023, a lot of complaints, about 60%, were because of these mistakes. For example, some shows were missing episodes, and some had problems with the language or the names of characters.

The leaked documents also showed that when the content didn’t match the right region, like showing the wrong language or subtitles, people were more likely to stop watching. Obviously you can’t expect a British man watching an Indian show in Japanese audio.

Of course Amazon says the documents are old and the mistakes didn’t affect the watchability but we know what it is.

Overall, Amazon is working hard to fix these problems. Let’s see how successful they turn out to be.
