Late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s last appeared in Kannada language docudrama ‘Gandhada Gudi’ before his unfortunate demise and it is now set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video later this month.
Written and directed by Amoghavarsha JS who also stars in the film as himself, ‘Gandhada Gudi’ also features Puneeth Rajkumar’s wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar who has also produced the film.
In ‘Gandhada Gudi’ Puneeth Rajkumar, an avid travel and adventure buff, decides to explore Karnataka’s rich biodiversity, for which he teams up with the award-winning wildlife filmmaker Amoghavarsha JS. Together, they embark on a journey across the length and breadth of the state, where they come across a visual spectacle of hidden gems.
‘Gandhada Gudi’ has music by ‘Kantara’ fame B. Ajaneesh Loknath. Pratheek Shetty has handled the cinematography for the docudrama. Shetty has also done editing for the film alongside by Ankith JK and Akshay Pai.
Produced by PRK Productions and Mudskipper, ‘Gandhada Gudi’ features the final appearance of Puneeth Rajkumar who succumbed to cardiac arrest just a day after the film’s release in theatres. ‘Gandhada Gudi’ will now premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 17th March, 2023.
