For those who don’t already know, the makers of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise had announced that the film will be arriving in theatres on the 17th of December this year. However, for the past week or so, there have been rumors claiming that the Allu Arjun starrer might get postponed indefinitely. It was reported that Pushpa: The Rise is still in the shooting phase and the film might not make it to theatres this December, given the delay in the shoot. Incidentally, Allu Arjun clarified the same while speaking at the pre-release event of Varudu Kavalenu.
“Indian cinema is slowly getting back on track. I sincerely hope films like Varudu Kaavalenu, Romantic, Annaatthe, Bhajarangi 2(Kannada), Sooryavanshi, which are releasing in the next few days turn out to be box office blockbusters. It is of great importance that the audience come back to theatres and in turn encourage us to keep entertaining them. Pushpa is also arriving in theatres on the 17th of December and I hope you will love the film,” he said.
The fact that Allu Arjun affirmed that Pushpa: The Rise will be hitting the theatres on 17th December, as announced earlier proves that there will be no change in the release plans.
Adding further, Allu Arjun said “Generally, I can’t speak highly of my films. But what I can say is that we are working really hard and putting our heart and soul into Pushpa. I hope you all will like the film,” he said.
Allu Arjun’s fans were ecstatic after learning that Pushpa: The Rise will indeed be releasing on the 17th of December without any further delay.
