The Indian market is going nuts about Deadpool and Wolverine. Like most Marvel films, the theatrical experience itself always comes out on top. But now, what if the theaters fumble? It sure leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
Speaking of fumbling, PVR INOX has taken on that responsibility. Being the biggest movie chain in India and charging excessive prices for their tickets, they are ruining the experience altogether. Fans are getting vocal about it.
These issues aren’t coming from just one theater.
The theater not only restarted the movie after the interval but also paused it multiple times, leaving the audience frustrated. Some theaters received complaints regarding poor sound quality, which is definitely upsetting since PVR charges a hefty price.
Speaking of intervals, PVR INOX has turned them into torture sessions as some of the theaters had almost half-hour-long intervals, which is pretty absurd for such a short movie.
There has also been some confusion among fans, as some of them booked tickets for Deadpool and Wolverine in regional audio, which was not mentioned in the PVR Passport notice. They thought no audio for Deadpool and Wolverine could be booked through it.
Overall, INOX is becoming a platform that not only overcharges for everything but also adds to the problems, resulting in a bad experience. Events like these make people pray for the OTT release, which is hassle-free and offers the comfort of their home.
