The trailer for ‘Raghu CNG’, the latest Gujarati film coming to SonyLIV is out now and it is sure to send chills down your spine. With story and direction by Vishal Vada Vala, ‘Raghu CNG’ is coming exclusively to SonyLIV on 24th September, 2021 along side Tamil film ‘Naduvan’ and Telugu film ‘Aakashvaani’ releasing on the same date.
The trailer begins with an ominous note on a silent night outside a railway station in Rajkot where Raghu is sitting in his auto waiting for a passenger. Just then a young man dressed in formal arrives and the ride starts. Just a few minutes into it, Raghu asks the passenger about his favourite actor, to which he replies Shah Rukh Khan.
The rickshaw stops and what happens next is the beginning of a series of shocking events. Raghu sprays something on passenger’s face that causes irritation and then makes him unconscious. He then takes him to an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere, where the young man screams for help while being tied to a chair.
Turns out Raghu, who seems dangerously cynical, has also kidnapped a young woman before the man and she is tied to a chair next to him. While they keep asking who is he or what does he want Raghu doesn’t reveal anything but the walls of the room where he has kept them has writings all over it which include different vehicle registration numbers, a few words and a date enclosed in a block in the center.
While the police is looking for the kidnapped people m, Raghu has something sinister planned for the date on the wall. He forcefully feeds the woman and physically tortures the man that includes beating his hands with a hammer. He even beats a man on head with stone who tries to rescue them.
A twisted sadist by nature, the torture was no fun for Raghu who thinks it will be more fun to burn them both alive. With just a day to the date on the wall, both the man and the woman are hell scared for their life. What will happen next? Will the police find and save them or will Raghu do something really bad to them? And more importantly why is Raghu doing all this?
