SonyLIV has unveiled the first look teaser of its upcoming courtroom drama, Raisinghani vs Raisinghani, starring Jennifer Winget and Karan Wahi. The duo is reuniting after nearly 14 years with this show. They were last seen together in Star One’s series, Dill Mill Gayye.
Jennifer Winget plays Anushka, a sharp-witted but kind-hearted lawyer who works at her father’s law firm. She doesn’t like to compromise with her ethics while working on her cases. On the flip side, we have Karan Wahi’s Virat, a charming but arrogant lawyer who believes he deserves to be the next head of Anushka’s father’s law firm.
The latest teaser of Raisinghani vs Raisinghani opens with Anushka talking to her father about a case in front of other colleagues and Virat. While everyone praises Anushka for her brilliant opening statement, Virat criticises her ethics. This makes her father believe that Anushka is too ethical and kind-hearted for the case, forcing him to transfer the entire case to Virat. In the end, we see Anushka saying that she does not compromise with her ethics.
This is not the first time we will see Jennifer Winget playing a lawyer in a TV series. She has played the character of Monica Mehra, an Indian Army lawyer, in Code M (Season 1 on ZEE5 and Season 2 on JioCinema).
Apart from Jennifer Winget and Karan Wahi, Raisinghani vs Raisinghani stars Reem Sameer Shaikh and Sanjay Nath. Aniruddha Rajderkar serves as the show’s director. SonyLIV is yet to announce its release window. Check out the teaser below!
