Released in theatres in 2022, Raj Chakraborty’s ‘Habji Gabji’ has finally found its streaming partner and is all set for its world digital premiere more than two and a half year later.
Adapted from Promoda Ranjan Roy’s ‘Boner Khobor’, ‘Habji Gabji’ will launch exclusively on Bengali streaming platform Hoichoi on 3rd January, 2025.
‘Habji Gabji’ follows Ahana (Subashree Ganguly) and Aditya (Parambrata Chatterjee), a workaholic couple who amidst their busy work schedule don’t get much time to spend with their son Anish aka Tipu (Samontak Dyuti Maitra). To make up for it Aditya introduces Tipu to mobile gaming but this becomes a big problem as he grows into a teenager and gets addicted to it and even becomes aggressive following the arrival of online gaming.
With story and direction by Raj Chakraborty, ‘Habji Gabji’ stars Subashree Ganguly, Parambrata Chatterjee, Samontak Dyuti Maitra, Suprovat Das, Padmanabha Dasgupta and Anirban Bhattacharya.
Jointly produced by Raj Chakraborty and Shyam Agarwal under the banners of Raj Chakraborty Entertainment and Srijan Arts, ‘Habji Gabji’ will premiere on Hoichoi on 3rd January, 2025.
