One of the most embarrassing moments of the year in the OTT industry has to be that of Lal Salaam. This is 2024 guys and if someone says that we lost the hard disk of the film then it is nothing less than pure embarrassment.
This is what happened with Lal Salaam. The film was released in February this year and came out as a big flop. It couldn’t even earn half of its budget despite having giants like Rajinikanth and AR Rahman associated with it.
Anyway, the film is yet to be released on OTT. It’s been so many months since the film came out on the big screens and ideally, it should have been released much much earlier.
So what’s the matter?
According to the makers, the hard disk of the film is now lost. It sounds crazy, right?
But this is what actually happened.
Due to the same reason, the film is not available to stream on OTT. Early this morning, a poster was circulating which said that the film would be streaming on Sun NXT on a specific date.
This was a cause of great excitement among the Rajini fans. But their excitement was short-lived.
Turns out that the news was fake and it was all a hoax. Lal Salaam’s hard disk is still lost and fans ara nowhere close to seeing it.
