As per media reports, superstar Rajinikanth has teamed up with his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth for his next movie. Aishwarya is a well-known filmmaker in the Tamil film industry. They will work together in Lyca Productions’ next big-budget movie. The 170th film marks the second coming together of the production house and the superstar after ‘Robot 2.0’. Meanwhile, the top 3 or 4 directors from the Tamil film industry are in talks to direct the 171st one, currently named ‘Thalaivar 171’. The names will be locked by early next year. ‘Thalaivar 171’ too will be produced by Lyca.
Lyca is celebrating the historical success of Ponniyin Selvan 1, and next year the celebration will be even bigger with its anticipated sequel Ponniyin Selvan 2. Shankar’s much-awaited ‘Indian 2’ with Kamal Hassan in the lead is also slated for release next year. So, 2023 is going to be quite a great one for the production house.
Rajinikanth will make his comeback after some time with his next movie ‘Jailer’ which was named ‘Thalaivar 169’ initially. The Anirudh musical will be the 169th movie of the superstar and it is also ready for release in early 2023. Fans are excited about the movie and there is a huge hype for this.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who is also the wife of Dhanush, made her directorial debut with ‘3’ starring Dhanush and Shruti Hassan. She has also directed ‘Vai Raja Vai’ and ‘Cinema Veeran’.
