The dream collaboration of the duo, Rajkumar Rao and Shah Rukh Khan will go on floors from the next week, sources from Pinkvilla revealed. A source close to their development shared,
“Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan are all set to start shooting for this social comedy set against the backdrop of immigration around April 15. A grand set, resembling Punjab, is put up at Filmcity in Mumbai, and that’s where the team will be shooting for a period of around 40 days,”
Rest of the ensemble cast includes Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani in significant roles.
Rajkumar Hirani prefers to keep a space between two schedules so that in the meantime he can edit the shots to get an image of how his vision illustrates on screen. When Hirani will work on his editing, Shah Rukh will juggle with Atlee’s project in the meantime, Pinkvilla shared.
The shoot will be commenced in Mumbai, followed by three more schedules in London, Budapest and either US or Canada. Overseas shoot will start probably around July. The shoot schedule will be held over a period of 100 to 110 days.
2022 indeed seems to be a very busy for SRK on the work front with a line-up of projects, Atlee’s next, Hirani’s untitled, Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ and ‘Pathaan’. SRK will be juggling between Atlee’s next and Hirani’s movie this entire year and also the first half of the next year. In between such extended shoots, he will also shoot for a cameo role in ‘Tiger 3.’ Also, in the meantime he will be doing some scenes for ‘Pathaan.’
