Rajkummar Rao has been finalized in another film. In the month of November, he was announced in a film called Hit: The First Case. It is a remake of a Telugu film and will release on 20th May this year.
But now he will also star in a film based on the life of Srikanth Bolla. For those who do not know, he is an industrialist and founder of Bollant Industries.
In the long list of his achievements, he is the first international blind student in Brain and Cognitive Science and Business at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
As a visually impaired in 1992 Andhra Pradesh, Srikanth attended MIT and created a name for himself.
He was given corporate opportunities in the USA but he decided to work in India.
Rajkummar Rao will play the lead role while Tushar Hiranandani will helm the direction. He is better known for writing screenplays but also directed Saand Ki Aankh.
It will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani.
The movie is in an extremely initial stage and the filming has not begun yet. It is said to start in July this year.
Lately we are seeing too many biopics being announced, we just hope that they are worth milking.
