Rajshri Productions has announced today its collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films and Boundless Media for ‘Uunchai’, it’s 60th film. ‘Uunchai’ is helmed by iconic filmmaker Sooraj R. Barjatya known for family dramas like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun..!’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ and more.
Announcing the collaboration and the film Rajshri Productions wrote on social media,
“We at Rajshri are proud to announce our association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Boundless Media as fellow producers for our next film – Uunchai. Helmed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, headlined by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani. Uunchai is our 60th film. Coming soon!”
Written and directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya ‘Uunchai’ stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Neena Gupta, Sarika, Danny Denzongpa, Parineeti Chopra and Nafisa Ali. The shooting for the film wrapped in April and is in post production now.
Touted to be a slice-of-life film based on friendship, ‘Uunchai’ is bankrolled by Rajshri Productions, Mahaveer Jain for Mahaveer Jain Films and Natasha Malpani Oswal for Boundless Media.
