Telugu family drama ‘Laggam’ is done with it’s theatrical run and is all set to come to OTT. Penned and helmed by ‘Bheemadevarapally Branchi’ filmmaker Ramesh Cheppala, ‘Laggam’ will have its world digital premiere on Aha Video on 22nd November, 2024.
‘Laggam’ means “marriage” in rural Telangana and the film is a heartwarming story following the dramatic journey of Chaitanya and Maanasa as they navigate the cultural ideologies and values of a traditional Telangana wedding. It all begins with rituals and traditions but soon unexpected twists occur and the whole family goes through an emotional roller coaster.
Set against the backdrop of marriage, ‘Laggam’ blends tradition, culture, family values and the emotions around it. The film stars Sai Ronak, Rajendra Prasad, Pragya Nagra, Rohini, Vadlamani Srinivas, Raghu Babu, LB Sriram, Saptagiri Krishnudu, and Raccha Ravi.
‘Lagam’ received positive reviews upon it’s theatrical release and is touted to be a fun and emotional family drama that is rooted in culture and feels relatable to the Telugu audience.
Produced by T. Venugopal Reddy under the banner of Subishi Entertainments, ‘Laggam’ will land on Aha Video on 22nd November, 2024.
