Popular Netflix crime action drama ‘Rana Naidu’ has kick started filming for the much awaited second season and the announcement video launched today has a lovely surprise for fans as Arjun Rampal has boarded the show and dons a gangster look.
Coming from the makers of shows like ‘Mirzapur’, ‘Inside Edge’ and ‘The Family Man’, ‘Rana Naidu’ is an official adaptation of American crime drama TV series ‘Ray Donavan’.
Rana, Naga, their feuds, follies and dysfunctional family dynamic will come back to set screens everywhere on fire again, captivating audiences with dark twists and high-octane turns in season two.
The first season was a smash hit globally and in India, with Indian and international audiences hooked to the characters, their conflicts, and the chaos that ensues when strong personalities from the seedy underbelly of power and celebrity clash with each other.
‘Rana Naidu’ season 1 trended in Netflix’s Global Top 10 for Non-English TV for 2 weeks soon after it launched. Also, it trended on the No.1 spot as the most watched series in India for three consecutive weeks after launch and continued to be in the Top 10 series row in India for 5th week in a row.

‘Rana Naidu’ Season 1 starred a versatile and charismatic ensemble cast featuring Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Surveen Chawla, Sushant Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Gaurav Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Rajesh Jais. They will be joined by Arjun Rampal in the second season.
