Ranveer Singh To Collaborate With ‘Adipurush’ Helmer Om Raut

Ranveer Singh has bestowed some incredible movies to Bollywood lovers in the last few years. His virtuoso performances in Padmaavat, Gully Boy, 83, and many more have aided him in separating himself from the rest of the industry’s performers. He always looks to bestow a unique theatrical experience to his fanbase. His last venture with YRF, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, bombed at the box office, earning only 26 crores against the 86 crore budget. Although, the film did pretty well on Prime Video. Now, the latest reports have unearthed that the actor is in talks to collaborate with helmer Om Raut for a mammoth-sized theatrical project.

According to Pinkvilla, “Om Raut and Ranveer Singh have been talking about an exciting big scale theatrical extravaganza that will blow people’s minds. The film is yet to get a title, but the conversations are in the advanced stages at the moment.”

Raut made his directional debut with the 2015 Marathi hit movie, Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush, with Subodh Bhave portraying Bal Gangadhar Tilak on the big screen. Then, he took a hiatus of five long years from directing duties and returned with Tanhaji. The Ajay Devgn starrer collected more than 360 crores at the box office, emerging as the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2020. Additionally, he sat on the director’s chair for the 500-crore monster project, Adipurush. Viewers will see the trio of Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Sunny Singh playing Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lakshmana respectively. Furthermore, we have Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh in this one.

On the flip side, Ranveer is currently busy filming Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The former project has the actor in dual roles. Apart from these projects, Singh will also collaborate with Shankar for the highly-anticipated Anniyan remake.
