Ranveer Singh is all set to star in Rohit Shetty’s next film. He was also a part of Rohit Shetty’s latest film Sooryavanshi. Currently, Suryavanshi is smashing the post lockdown box office records.
Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh have collaborated previously for the first time in Simmba and recently Singh appeared in a cameo in the Akshay Kumar lead Sooryavanshi. Now the director has announced his third collaboration with Ranveer Singh. Interestingly, the film is not very far from being released. As of this moment, the makers are planning to release the film on 15th July 2022.
If this happens, then Cirkus will be clashing against Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Katter and Siddhant Chaturvedi starring Phone Bhoot. Phone Bhoot is going to be a horror-comedy.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma will also be seen in the film. Both Jacqueline and Pooja I have never worked with Ranveer or Rohit Shetty before. However, Varun Sharma was a part of Shahrukh Khan led Rohit Shetty directorial project Dilwale.
The genre of the film is not clear yet. But it can be expected to be a comedy film. Whether this film will do similar magic like Simmba is still sceptical. But one should never doubt the grip of Rohit Shetty on a mass entertainer film. Because anyone can hardly match his continuous success as a director of commercial films in the 21st century.
