Ray Stevenson Gets Cast As An Admiral in Star Wars: Ahsoka

Apart from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan Mcgregor and the Andor series starring Diego Luna, the development of the highly anticipated Star Wars: Ahsoka series is underway as well. The supremely talented duo of Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau announced the show in December 2020. And the holder of the white lightsaber, Ahsoka Tano, made her live-action debut in the sophomore season of The Mandalorian. In addition to portraying the iconic Star Wars character in that season, Rosario Dawson also played it in the recently culminated The Book of Boba Fett project. Many prominent performers have joined the cast of the Ahsoka series so far. And Ray Stevenson has become its newest member.

Various reports have confirmed that Stevenson has grabbed a role in the upcoming live-action Ahsoka Tano project. Some reports say that he will don the character of an Admiral. However, he will not play the fan-favourite Admiral Thrawn. Also, Hayden Christensen is a part of the cast. He is ready to portray Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker) in this one as well as in the Kenobi series.

Other additions include Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Natasha Liu Bordizzo. The latter will play Sabine Wren, an Imperial Academy dropout and expert of weapons, in the forthcoming show. On the other hand, Winstead is rumoured to portray Luke Skywalker’s wife, Mara Jade Skywalker.

The makers of the Star Wars: Ahsoka series have not yet locked its release date. But if we consider all the things, then we can assume that it may drop in late 2023 or early 2024. It will stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
