Reacher Season 2 Already Spoils This Integral Character’s Death

We are halfway through Prime Video’s Reacher Season 2, and it seems like the makers have revealed how one of the ongoing season’s most integral characters will meet his demise.

The latest episode, “A Night at the Symphony” (from Season 2), has already disclosed how Robert Patrick’s Shane Langston will lose his life at the hands of Jack Reacher. The bulky and straightforward protagonist may kill him by throwing him off a helicopter.

Known as Lamaison in the novel “Bad Luck and Trouble,” Langston likes to kill his prey by throwing them from a helicopter. Reacher may do the same with him in one of the upcoming episodes. Patrick’s character has killed many guys in the past with the same method, including Franz, Orozco, and Sanchez. Reacher has not forgotten their deaths, so he promises to take revenge for his fallen teammates from Langston. In addition, he vows to throw him out of a helicopter.

Throwing a key character like Langston from a helicopter seems predictable. On the other hand, Alan Ritchson’s Reacher is known for doing what he sets his mind on. So, there is a fair chance that Langston may lose his life in the forthcoming episodes. However, the above-mentioned novel ends Langston’s arc by throwing him off a helicopter. It will be interesting to see how makers deal with this situation.

Die-hard fans of Reacher must have figured out that the third episode of Season 2 already foreshadowed Langston’s death. During the torture scene, Luke Bilyk’s Franz warns Langston about the “big guy”, and we all know who the big guy is. Even during his last moments, he was calm as he knew that his hero and mentor, Jack Reacher, would take revenge for his death by killing Langston.

All four episodes of Reacher Season 2 are streaming on Prime Video. Stay tuned for more updates.
