Reasons Why Stranger Things S4 Vol 2 Will Be An Absolute Blast

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 has less than a month left from hitting the Netflix streaming service. The previous volume bestowed seven horrifying and action-packed episodes mixed with a perfect amount of 80s retro to the fans. Not to mention their extended runtimes.

What does fate have in store for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo)? Will Eleven successfully kill Vecna and end the ‘Upside Down’ chapter for good? Or something worse awaits the residents of Hawkins? But we know that the final volume will be an absolute blast! Here’s why!

Volume 2 has only two episodes

Before you all get disappointed, allow us to inform you that both episodes are very long. The first episode is 1 hour and 25 minutes long. On the other hand, the second one almost has two and a half hours of runtime. Yes, we will be watching practically a movie in the final episode. Both episodes will continue from where Episode 7 of Vol 1 ended.

The death of a main character is on the cards

One of the show’s creators, Ross Duffer, has warned the fans about the death of at least one of their favourite characters ahead of Vol 2’s release. In a recent interview with Variety, he said, “I would be concerned about the characters going into Volume 2, for sure. I hope that that is sort of the sense because it is a darker season and the kids are no longer kids. So everybody is in danger. And there’s sort of an ominous feeling that things might not go well. Now, whether they do or not, you’ll have to watch.”

Will’s sexuality

Apart from Will Byers, all members of ‘The Party’ have experienced love and the struggles related to it. Even the actor portraying the character, Noah Schnapp, does not have the slightest idea about his character’s sexuality. Some instances in the show almost disclosed Will’s true sexuality. Do you remember when Will chose Alan Turing as his hero for a school presentation? Turing is considered the father of artificial intelligence and theoretical computer science. But his homosexuality forced him to live a miserable life back in the 1950s. Also, Will explains to Mike that opening up to your close friends is hard, especially if you are scared that they may reject you.

In an interview with Variety, Schnapp disclosed, “I feel like they [The Duffer Brothers] never really address it or blatantly say how Will is. I think that’s the beauty of it, that it’s just up to the audience’s interpretation, if it’s Will kind of just refusing to grow up and growing up slower than his friends, or if he is really gay.”

Argyle’s fate is secured or not?

Every season of Stranger Things has killed off at least one favourite character. Barb lost her life in Season 1, Bob in Season 2, and Billy and Alexei in the last season. Will the same happen to Argyle (Eduardo Franco) in the upcoming volume? This is what Franco told E! News: “I have yet to play a character that dies. So that would have been an experience. You know, is that a spoiler? I don’t die.”

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 will release on Netflix on July 1. Stay tuned for more updates.
