Amazon Prime Video is coming up with a crackerjack of a series later this week, provocatively titled, ‘Hunters.’ And no, the series is not a wild-life documentary about hunters and animals playing cat and mouse with each other in the great outdoors. So read on to find out what Hunters is about, and what has got us really excited over it!
The thrilling storyline –
Hunters is about a bunch of vigilantes in America, who want to weed out the Nazis that have settled amongst them in the garb of normal Americans. These Nazis, after the fall of the Third Reich, harbour a sinister plan to establish The Fourth Reich right here in the USA. The series is set in the seventies, and takes on a lot of the flavour of that time in history. These vigilante men and women call themselves the ‘Hunters’, and rightly so, for they’re out to hunt and kill those bloodthirsty Nazis and prevent another genocide. There’s enough crazy stunts, thrilling action and edge-of-the-seat excitement to have the average action junky drooling in anticipation.
The stunning cast of Hunters –
The series is headlined by Al Pacino — arguably, one of the best actors of the times we live in. The guy plays Meyer Offerman, the leader of the Hunters. He’s a Jew, a holocaust survivor and he’s got bloody retribution on his mind. Logan Lerman plays his protégé, whom he recruits into the Hunters league when his grandma, a part of Hunters, is murdered by a mysterious killer right in their home. Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker, and Lena Olin complete the cast.
The exciting just-released ‘Red Band’ trailer of Hunters –
Amazon Prime Video released a chillingly graphic ‘Red Band’ trailer for Hunters this weekend, and mark our words, it goes the whole hog. There’s gore, lots of it, and blood, by the buckets. Necks are impaled with nonchalance, and people are tortured mercilessly. Gosh, it all looks exciting, and has us agog and buzzing. There was a Green Band trailer released earlier, but that one was sweet and mild compared to this roaring, crackling trailer. Check it out –
