Exclusive Telugu OTT platform Aha Video has been aggressively promoting its upcoming political and newsroom thriller series, ‘Newsense‘. While Aha Video has revealed the first looks of the series, along with song promos, they’ve kept the release date for ‘Newsense’ under wraps — until now. This afternoon, Aha Video finally announced the release date for ‘Newsense’. All episodes of the series will premiere on Aha Video on 12th May, 2023.
‘Newsense’ is a series that will showcase the power of the pen and the press. As the title of the Telugu series suggests, ‘Newsense’ revolves around the world of news and the media, and the ills plaguing it. The series stars actor Navdeep in the lead. He plays a journalist called Shiva in the series. Bindu Madhavii plays the female lead in the series, alongside Navdeep. The series is directed by Sriprawin Kumar.
‘Newsense’ comes from ‘People Media Factory’, the production house of TG Viswa Prasad. The banner recently had a successful film, in the form of the Ravi Teja starrer, ‘Dhamaka’. People Media Factory and Aha Video had earlier collaborated on the well-received web series ‘Kudi Yedamaithe’. Vivek Kuchibotla is the co-producer of ‘Newsense’.
Suresh Bobbili has composed the music for ‘Newsense’, while Priyadarshini Ram has written the story of Newsense. The series will premiere on Aha Video on 12th May, 2023.
