1899 is coming soon on Netflix. Undoubtedly it is the most awaited series on the platform this year. After the monstrous success of Dark, the makers are yet again here with their next offering.
Regardless, there was a mistake that Netflix committed with Dark. Even though the series was insanely popular amongst the Indian masses, the Indian audios of the show are not to be found on Netflix.
Perhaps that’s the big reason that a reasonably inferior quality show such as La Casa De Papel is always trending in India but not a masterpiece such as Dark.
Regardless, it is indeed important for Netflix that they dub 1899. We realize that the series is a multilingual drama. It means that different characters speak different languages in the original audio.
The whole setting of the show is on a ship that carries people from all over Europe. Thus, the real fun is guaranteed by watching the original audio with English subtitles. Just like the case that was with the highly famous ‘Inglorious Basterds’ (2009).
Still, a lot of people would love to watch 1899 in dubbed audio-only. Thus, it is important for them to release the series on a wide scale.
So a humble request to Netflix for dubbing 1899 in not only English but also Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
