AV36 was to be announced today at 5 PM and after delaying for more than one hour, the title has finally been announced. The 36th movie of Arun Vijay’s colorful career is going to be an out and out actioner. The movie is titled ‘Retta Thala’ and it will be directed by Kris Thirukumaran. Kris Thirukumaran is known for directing movies like ‘Gethu’ and ‘Maan Karate’.
The first look poster of Retta Thala looks quite interesting. It shows a double Arun Vijay engaged in a fierce game of wrestling. The poster has got the vibe of some old classical painting. It is highly probable that the movie will be a double role movie. While it is no new concept for an Indian film, it is also true that double role films have always drawn a huge number of audiences since ages. It might be a story of two estranged brothers, a sly doppelganger or some new sci-fi plot element. The movie will be an action thriller and itbis very visible from the look of the poster.
Music composer Sam CS is contributing to the music of the film and it will indeed be a great addition to the film. Apart from Arun Vijay, there will be other actors in the movie like Tanya Ravichandran, Siddhi Idnani, Balaji Murugadoss and more. Retta Thala is being produced under the banner of BTG Universal.
