Netflix has finally announced the premiere date for its highly anticipated dating reality show with Karan Johar. The show, called What the Love! With Karan Johar, was announced a long time ago, but no release date had been declared by the streaming platform until now.
Setting right the anomaly, Netflix has finally announced that the show will stream from 30th January 2020. And guess what, the streaming giant has unveiled a 1 and a half minute long trailer too, along with the premiere date announcement.
What the Love! With Karan Johar will have the witty director play a love guru of sorts to six singles who are struggling to make it in their love lives. Karan won’t be going at it alone. He’ll have a host of celeb guests trooping in and out of his show, sharing their precious two cents on what the single participants on the show can do to ensnare the loves of their lives. Sunny Leone, Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Huma Qureshi are some of the celebrated names we know.
There’ll also be a glam squad in waiting, to help the participants in whichever way they can to succeed in their love mission. Fashion and style expert Maneka Harinsinghani, and makeup and hair artist Shaan Muttathil, will glam up the contestants to give them an alluring makeover.
Well, the premise sounds interesting. And the concept is right up Karan’s alley, what with his affinity for fashion, his propensity to live life king-size, and his ability to connect with people at every level.
Fans enamoured with the tsar of talk shows, Karan Johar, and his sparkling humour on his show Koffee With Karan will definitely tune in to watch him play love guru. No doubt it is his wit and humour that endears him to his fans.
What the Love! With Karan Johar Season 1 premieres on Netflix on 30 January 2020.
