Revealed! Taapsee Pannu’s “Dobaaraa” Official Remake Of This Spanish Film!

Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap are a combination to look out for. Taapsee Pannu’s powerful acting in a world created by Anurag Kashyap has continuously mesmerized fans. After 2 prior successful movies, Taapsee Pannu and Anurag Kashyap have teamed up for yet another new movie. This though, isn’t new to anyone at the moment, as everyone is quite aware of the upcoming movie. The upcoming movie has been titled “Dobaaraa” and has been garnering attention ever since its announcement.

Well, there’s some news for the fans and movie buffs. It has been revealed that the movie “Dobaaraa” is the official Hindi remake of the hit Spanish film “Mirage”. The Spanish movie was directed by Oriol Paulo in 2018. The movie has been adapted in a way that could entertain the Hindi film audience. The script is being written by Nihit Bhave, who has worked with Kashyap earlier on the movie “Choked”. As for “Dobaaraa”, Taapsee Pannu pairs up once again with Pavail Gulati, her co-star from “Thappad”.

As for the original movie, “Mirage” stars actors like Adriana Ugarte, Chino Darin, Javier Gutierrez Alvarez, and Money Heist fame Alvaro Morte in the lead roles. The movie is a mystery thriller that revolves around the concept of time travel. The story follows the lead Vera, who one day gets the opportunity to save the life of a boy 25 years in the past. This happens due to a major change in the space-time continuum. But, as a result of that, her present reality changes as she loses her daughter in the real world. Now, it’s up to her to bring back her daughter.

“Dobaaraa” at the moment is in post-production. The movie directed by Anurag Kashyap is being produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Cult Movies and Sunir Khetarpal’s ATHENA. Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee are coming together after “Manmarziyaan” and “Saand ki Aankh”. Besides that Ekta Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap are collaborating for the third time, after “Udta Punjab” and “Lootera”.

With “Dobaaraa” officially being termed as the Hindi remake of the Spanish film “Mirage, it makes Taapsee Pannu’s second time in a Hindi adaptation of a Spanish movie. The first was with “Badla”, which was the remake of the Spanish film, “The Invisible Guest”.
