The movie adaptation of ‘It Ends With Us’ is working out quite greatly in theaters. The book was a bestseller novel and it seems readers are loving the adaptation. Colleen Hoover, the author, has already written another best-seller novel that is a sequel to it. But there are little chances that ‘It Starts With Us’, the sequel, will be adapted into a movie.
The reason behind this uncertainty is the sudden rift between the two stars of the movie. Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. It became quite evident for netizens when Baldoni was not present for some promotional events and he was not there to introduce the movie with Blake Lively and Colleen Hoover. Most of the cast members do not follow Baldoni on Instagram as well, as fans have pointed out.
There are no official statements from the two actors but there is little chance that they would work together again. Blake plays the role of Lily Bloom who is a young girl moving to Boston dreaming of having her own business. She falls in love with a neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, played by Baldoni and suddenly her ex Atlas Corrigan re-enters her life.
‘It Starts With Us’ continues to extend Lily Bloom’s story. The two books are considered to be literary masterpieces by many while many readers reject them for their style. However, we cannot deny the huge popularity they bear and it is strange that such a successful movie will not be able to turned up into a franchise.
