Riteish Deshmukh is turning director with Marathi film ‘Ved’ and the newly launched teaser for the film explains what’s love like. ‘Ved’ also marks Genelia Deshmukh’s Marathi film debut and will release in cinemas on 30th December, 2022.
‘Ved’ teaser begins with an aesthetic aerial view of a sea shore while Riteish Deshmukh tries to compare love with the ocean where some get to surf the waves while some get stranded on the shore.
The teaser then shows glimpses of Riteish in a rugged look from the film as he keeps drawing analogies for love. He says love is similar to rain clouds, where some can feel the rain and some are cursed with pain. For him love is also like sand where your hand is full until you hold it tight and it’s gone as soon as you open it.
Since love is different for everyone, some fall madly in love while others get mad in love and given his action filled sequences from ‘Ved’, Riteish seems to fall in the latter category who has experienced a lot of pain in life and love. Towards the end the teaser also offers a glimpse of Genelia who looks pretty in a decent Indian girl role.
‘Ved’ is directed by Riteish Deshmukh who stars in the film alongside Genelia Deshmukh, Jiya Shankar, Ashok Saraf and Shubhankar Tawde. ‘Ved’ is an Ajay-Atul musical and is produced by Genelia Deshmukh under her banner Mumbai Film Company.
‘Ved’ will release in theatres on 30th December, 2022.
